Excellent room, great location, friendly staff

Everything one could wish for!! We were upgraded to an apartment which was a lovely surprise and very welcome as I have been very ill. The apartment was wonderful, full of artistic touches and extremely spacious and clean. The chaps who serviced the apartment were excellent too. The receptionists could not have been more helpful. So, all in all, a marvellous visit to remember when we next book a trip to Edinburgh. Of course, The Rutland will be our first choice!!

Nothing really. Maybe keep the complimentary Tunnock Teacakes in the fridge but much appreciated.

Wonky staircase, will ask for ground floor next time. Kitchen not well equipped. You could reheat a ready meal, that's about it.

The room was extremely nice with great view of Edinburgh. Very handy for our plans, wedding celebrations within 5 minutes walk. Faultless room.

One morning the breakfast could have been better (not freshly cooked) but very good the two other mornings of our stay.
