Good location. The bed was comfy. The room was spacious. Breakfast was ok, not a lot of choice, nice pastries.

We only needed the room for one night so we put up with the issues, but there were a few things that we didn’t like. There’s another building being built immediately next door, literally within about a couple of metres of our bedroom window, our room was 227, so when we arrived and in the morning the work might as well have been going on in our room, it was so noisy, although it was quiet over night. The earplugs provided wouldn’t have been any use had we wanted a lie in! I think we should have been told about this before we arrived and really, I’m not sure the room should be in use at the moment and when we left we weren’t asked how our stay was, I didn’t bother saying anything as I’m not sure the feedback would have been passed on. We also didn’t like the fact that anyone could walk into the hotel and gain access to the floors where the rooms are, we didn’t have to use our key-pass to access the stairs and also once inside the room we couldn’t lock the door from the inside, as it didn’t work. Lastly when we returned to the hotel on Thursday night there were some false finger nails on the stairs, and in the morning they were still there!

unfortunately there was construction sound from next door started around 8am finished at 5.30pm staff sickness meant no lightbite meals available, although theres a selection of microwave pizzas, toasties and various other snacks

Wasn’t anything except the early morning drilling being heard from 08.00 slightly early if you have had a late night.
