We booked this hotel expecting a sea view, as the room photos showed a beautiful view over the cliffs and coastline. However, only upon check-in were we informed that the seaside building was under renovation and that our room was actually across the street, away from the sea. The most unpleasant experience was discovering that someone had entered our room while we were out, moved our personal belongings and removed a brand-new kitchen table without our knowledge or permission. Reception initially had no reasonable explanation, and we felt like they took our table to give it to some other guest. Days later, we were told that management had simply been testing the furniture and decided to remove it. No replacement table was provided, despite the table being essential for comfortably using the kitchen. One employee told us that we have a kitchen table, and that we are mistaking it for an office desk. Silly me, after all those travels and hotels, I could not recognize a modern kitchen table with a notebook and pencil, an office desk lamp, and two drawers that was placed next to a wall. Even more surprisingly, the staff saw nothing wrong with entering an occupied room to remove furniture without informing the guests. Parking was another issue. We paid for garage parking after being advised that outdoor spaces were usually full, only to return one evening and find all 10 garage spaces occupied. We were then directed to park in another building across the street. The restaurant, pool and spa facilities were also located across the street. The pool area was unattended, while the spa and changing rooms appeared outdated. During breakfast, we witnessed staff dragging a hose across a dirty courtyard directly into the pool. The room felt a little chilly at night. Hotel's casual attitude towards guest privacy and comfort is simply unacceptable, therefore I would not recommend anyone to stay here.
