we understood this to be a 4* hotel however our room had one bedsite light,, the second light being blanked off. The room was generally poorly lit. Old and warn out bathroom where door delaminating. Flushing mechanism to WC antiquated. Breakfast fried eggs were piled high and left so long in bain marie that they became rubbery. The toasters were turned to burning mode by some customers.

Only one elevator working and that one was also very slow. Pain when your room is on the top floor.
It was a great location near Haymarket and lots of little restaurants and cafes. The hotel suited our needs perfectly.

One elevator was broken so there were long wait times to go up or down. I didn’t appreciate the “late checkout fee” for a 1 hour extension.
