Staff on duty in the restaurant were possibly too relaxed - standing around laughing and joking (louder than the restaurant music) when there were no cups at the tea and coffee machine. Bowl i received breakfast in the first day had a big chip out of the edge. Outside the Hotels control but there is construction taking place (Sept 26) in the building next door and the construction work and hammering starting around 7 and then the drilling starts at 8. We weren’t advised on checking that this construction work would be like this during our stay.

The breakfast was very good, we could choose two things off the menu. The room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. We had two evening meals in the restaurant and both were excellent. The room was kept at a comfortable temperature. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The entrance to the hotel was not obvious and, because it was in the pedestrian area. our taxi had to leave us a five minute walk away. It was difficult with a suitcase over the cobbles. The lighting in our bedroom was too dim. The shower over the bath was difficult to navigate for people with more limited mobility. We had some noise from the building work next door, but less than it might have been.

Pésimo aire acondicionado. NO FUNCIONABA y en estos tiempos que corren, con las olas de calor, un hotel de 4 o 5 estrellas NO PUEDE NO TENER UN AIRE ACONDICIONADO ADECUADO
