The location was good

Honestly, Ive been travelling for 8 months and this is the first and only negative review I have left. The room was AWFUL it was a private room, by far the most expensive I've had in Laos, and it had no window. Literally no natural light. What would have been a window was blocked by a metal cupboard in an ajoining room, and there was about 3 inches of space which looked directly into the staff kitchen. Which meant that at 6:45 am, the kitchen staff came and started preparing breakfast, which was incredibly loud in the room. The room only had bright white electric strip lighting. No bedside table. Clinical white bare walls. Literally no effort to make the room comfortable or homey. Honestly felt like a prison cell. When I arrived I was really shocked to see the room. The staff acted as if I was crazy for wanting a room with a window. When I asked if I could see the bathroom before agreeing to take the room they refused to let me and would only show me photos. it was pouring with rain and late at night so I had to take the room. The room has no adjoining bathroom. To get to the bathroom you need to remember to take your room key every time, because the door automatically locks behind you. On the second night, in the middle of the night, I got up to use the toilet and forgot to take the key and the door locked behind me. Turns out - there are no hotel staff at the facilities at night and absolutely no way to contact them. I was locked out of the room for the entire night with no money or phone. This is seriously irresponsible of them. When I was locked out I had to try other doors to the dorm rooms to see if any were unlocked and with a spare bed to sleep in. Turns out - thankfully for me, that the room next to mine was an empty dorm room with no guests in it. But actually, that same morning I had requested to move to a dorm because my room was so overpriced and horrible, and they had told me the hotel was fully booked and no dorms available. Booked the train ticket thought the hostel was mis-leading, becareful.

对比了当地的好几家青旅，只有这家的床边有很大的储物功能，亲测我20寸的行李箱也可以放得下，经常住青旅的都懂这点真的会方便很多。前台是个小咖啡馆，环境不错，全天都有空调。staff英语不错，会主动帮忙提行李箱到二楼。

房间比较小。入住需要有押金，所以手头最好有现金💰我当时还没换老挝币，泰铢也不够了，用的日元支付他们也接受。期间把咖啡劵弄丢了，staff说不能补，所以我就没有喝到咖啡（当然经常丢三落四是我自己的问题）

Nice little hostel. The beds had an interesting design, there's extra space next to the mattress on one side including a locker at the foot of the bed (even on the top bunk). As a result floor space is very limited in the dorm but the extra room for each individual bed makes up for it. The free coffee voucher was very nice and the coffee shop was lovely. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

Some parts of the rooms look quite old but that's part of the charm. Wasn't the most social place as there's just the coffee shop as shared space.
