Breakfast is very good. Fresh bagels, nice selection of yogurts, cereal, granola, fresh fruit. Most importantly, there is awesome friendly vibe.

All was good
I stayed here for four nights and I really liked it. The best part was the atmosphere. The dorm was friendly and easy to talk to people, and the ballroom is a great place to hang out in the evening. I met a lot of other travellers there, which is exactly what you want in a hostel. The location is very good too. North Beach means you can walk to Chinatown, Coit Tower and the Embarcadero without taking a bus. Breakfast is included, which helps a lot because San Francisco is expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for the price. I would definitly come back.

Nothing really. A dorm is a dorm, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
