De combinatie van een moderne, ruime studio met kitchenette en het gratis openbaarvervoersbewijs maakte het verblijf uiterst comfortabel. Omdat uit eten gaan in Genève kostbaar is, biedt de eigen keuken veel vrijheid. Daarnaast zijn de bedden van topkwaliteit en is het hotel dankzij de goede isolatie een oase van rust na een dag in de stad. De bus stopt vrijwel voor de deur, waardoor je binnen een kwartier in het historische centrum of bij het meer staat.

Directe omgeving: De wijk rond de internationale organisaties is erg zakelijk en 's avonds uitgestorven. Voor een leuk terras of gezellig diner op loopafstand moet je niet hier zijn; je bent voor levendigheid echt aangewezen op de tram of bus naar het centrum. Eentonig ontbijt en drukte: Hoewel het gratis ontbijt een fijne extra is, verandert het aanbod nauwelijks. Bij een verblijf van 4 nachten wordt het wat eentonig. Bovendien kan de ontbijtruimte op piekmomenten tussen 08:30 en 09:30 uur behoorlijk vol en kraep aanvoelen.

The room was bigger than I had thought given many European rooms are small. It had nice decor and was modern and clean. We arrived at 9:30am after walking there from the airport, and were able to check in early as members of their loyalty program. This meant a nice shower to freshen up after a long trip from Australia, then the opportunity to unpack a bit and relax before walking down to town. The buffet breakfast is amazing, with lots of selection to choose from.

It’s further away from the main area of town than I had realised, but we were still able to walk down to the lake and just catch a bus back up the hill.
