L’hôtel bénéficie d’un très bon emplacement, à proximité du centre et des sites incontournables de la ville. Les procédures d’arrivée et de départ en autonomie sont bien pensées et particulièrement pratiques pour les arrivées tardives et les départs matinaux. La chambre est plutôt spacieuse, et la bouilloire mise à disposition est un petit plus appréciable.

La chambre est plutôt spacieuse, et la bouilloire mise à disposition est un petit plus appréciable.

La propreté de la chambre à notre arrivée laissait à désirer : le bureau et le réfrigérateur n’avaient pas été nettoyés et comportaient de nombreuses miettes. Plusieurs équipements étaient également défectueux : la poubelle de la salle de bain était cassée et le sèche-serviettes ne fonctionnait pas. Il était par ailleurs impossible de régler la température de la chambre. L’éclairage était très faible, nous donnant l’impression de vivre dans le noir. La chambre donnant directement sur le parking, nous devions garder les rideaux fermés pour préserver notre intimité, ce qui accentuait encore le manque de lumière et rendait la chambre peu agréable. Nous n’avons eu aucun contact avec la réception et ne savons même pas s’il y en avait une, puisque l’accès à notre chambre se faisait par l’arrière de l’établissement. Nous avons uniquement croisé des membres du personnel par hasard, lors de leur pause cigarette. Nous leur avons demandé des serviettes propres, mais aucune ne nous a été déposée en chambre. Le ménage n’est pas systématiquement effectué pendant le séjour et un nettoyage complet est facturé en supplément. Quant au système d’accès sécurisé à l’entrée, son intérêt est limité puisque la porte extérieure restait constamment ouverte. Enfin, nous avions réservé un lit king size, mais celui mis à disposition nous a semblé de taille standard. Nous aurions également préféré une grande couette pour deux personnes plutôt que deux petites couettes individuelles.

I had a single room with a single bed, which looked more like a queen bed. It was very comfortable, and the room was a good size for 1 person and very cosy. Heaters worked well, shower is fabulous!! There wasn't any cleaning, but I think you can just request it - that wasn't an issue for me, so I didn't reach out about that. I got my room number and code with all the instructions and photos on the morning of my arrival. Everything worked well. I have to say that their customer service here was fantastic! Always very responsive, helpful and friendly. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the town centre, an easy walk, and a supermarket is a 3-minute walk away, which helped me get snacks, cutlery, and everything else for the room. The restaurant downstairs is also amazing, and the staff are helpful. I was also lucky to see the Northern Lights from the car park!! Always look up on a clear day :)

Nothing I disliked, but I would have benefited from a bathroom mat to put next to the shower. Everything else was great; I will come back :)

There’s no front desk, it’s all self check in. No early check in even though the rooms were ready and clean unless you paid money. No free breakfast like other hotels
