Room facilities and staff hospitality with sincere smiling faces to cater to our anxious faces when we needed to extend our stay due to airport closure. Their front office, Ms Patricia, in particular, professionally accomodate us for all our queries with patience. Their room cleaning is also good, always topping up our tea bags and sugar plus changing our towels and doing up our bed daily. Bell boys always helping us with our shopping bags upon our return to the hotel. Bravo to ParkRoyal for having these personnel. Keep it up!

We stayed for 6 nights as a family and really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, especially for Grand Indonesia, Thamrin and the surrounding shopping and dining areas, and having a mall directly downstairs was very convenient. We had two rooms, including a two-bedroom apartment for the kids, and the apartment was fantastic. It was very spacious and had everything we needed, including a kitchen, dining area, lounge, washer and dryer. For a family on a longer stay, this made a huge difference. We stayed on the 79th floor and the views across Jakarta were incredible. The rooms were clean, quiet and made up very well each day. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, and the pool and other facilities were very good.

Breakfast was only average. The breakfast area was quite small and although there was some variety, it was nothing particularly special compared with the overall standard of the hotel. The steam room also closed quite early, around 5–6pm, and it would have been much better if it stayed open later so it could be used after returning from a day out. One other point is that the very high floors may not suit anyone who is uncomfortable with heights.
