The hotel is in a good location about 10 minutes walk from Taipei Main station on a street with plenty of places to eat and shop. There are several Relax Hotels in the same area, make sure you go to the Hotel Relax 5. My room had a large window with a view of the street. There is a lounge area with a microwave, sink and coffee machine free for guests to use. One of the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

There is a lounge area with a microwave, sink and coffee machine free for guests to use. One of the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

The whole hotel uses a very dark decor in the corridors, rooms and the lounge area. The carpet outside my room was visibly stained. The room is small, with the bed pushed up against the wall, under the window. I had to rearrange things to give me room to open my luggage. There is a small shelf in one corner of the room which was taken up with the telephone, kettle and other sundries. I had to move everything off of the shelf to make room for my laptop! The room towels weren't changed or the rubbish taken out on the first morning even though I had requested "eco cleaning" at the reception when I checked in. The next morning I caught the housekeeper outside of my room and asked her to do the "Eco-cleaning!" before I went out. There is one washing machine and one dryer in the basement for guests to use, however you need to use 5 x 100 TWD coins to use them. The basement is very dark, dirty and there are rubbish bins full of hotel waste and laundry supplies in the same area! The lounge area is behind the reception area, it has the same dark decor with no windows and there are steps down to the coffee machine and up to the setting area - it's not very inviting! I stayed in a different hotel in the same area of Taipei which was much better for approximately the same price. The better hotel was in the same location, had a larger room, friendly staff, much better free laundry and lounge facilities.

清掃は３日に1度で、タオルの効果とゴミ捨てを頼む時は当日17時までまでにフロントに依頼しなくてはならず、不便。
