Bijzonder hotel - veel luxe, hele grote lobby, veel personeel, veel van alles van het goede leven eigenlijk. Ideaal voor de zakenman of zakenvrouw.

Ik kwam net van een ander 5 sterren hotel die het beter deed op het gebied van 'je welkom voelen'. Bijvoorbeeld: bij La Meridien geen welkoms fruitschaal of iets lekkers als verrassing elke dag. Bij het inchecken wel een drankje, en bij het uitchecken een magneet voor op de koelkast. Meer niet. Voor $1200 per nacht was het wel wat karig allemaal. 1 drankje uit de minibar moest worden afgerekend. Logisch en prima, maar voor dit bedrag zou ik het drankje niet eens op de rekening zetten. Italiaans restaurant: eten okay, maar alles ging zo snel - niet een heerlijke uitrust ambiance. De man had haast denk ik.

Comfortable, very clean and very friendly staff. Nice swimming pool on roof top (just a pity that they play loud pop music to disturb relaxation, but that’s a matter of personal taste). Absolutely brilliant was the massage in the SPA, really wonderful. Great cappuccino’s in the lobby.

Loud music at the pool. Smoggy air (pollution in Dhaka, but that’s not the hotel’s fault). Locations doesn’t offer anything, very much an airport hotel. Very expensive!
