Il freddo e la puzza in camera dovuta dalla muffa

We needed a place to stay overnight for an early flight and Dublin hotels are expensive. The Dawson Hostel worked fine for us. Easy walk to Grafton Street, 10 minute walk to the bus stop for the Air Coach to the airport. We had a nice big room with private bathroom and comfortable beds.

This was a much bigger hostel than I had realized. Reading the details on booking.com it seemed there was an elevator to the upper floors. Which in a way there was but the elevator only went from floor 2 to floor 3 (where we were). You had to walk up stairs from the ground floor to floor 2. Not great for us in our 70s but the young friendly guy on reception was very kind and carried our suitcases for us.
