Great location centrally located. Able to self-cater. Iceland is expensive so cooking for oneself helps. the apartment was a good size. Grocery shops close by. Accessing tours easy from the location of the apartment.

When the street was busy, the noise from the street could be heard. Otherwise all was okay.

The management of this property is completely absent and thinks it can resolve daily issues with an AI CHATBOT. Indeed the electronic door key system is annoyingly unpredictable. Other clients have shared their struggles to have access to their room as well. When the codes you are given don’t work you have to wait for other clients to open for you or use your phone with long distance phone calls to try to solve the problem remotely. The booking.com message system is just fed by AI. If you have any issues nobody from the property will physically help you. Regarding the cleaning, when we checked in, the bathroom and main room bins had not been emptied. As no one physically ever double checks, this is not surprising. Finally the location is a double edge sword as the wine bar underneath our room will guarantee you a late and loud evening even with the window closed.

Vintage Apartment Hotel was fantastic. Getting inside and to our room was easy with the provided code. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great, spacious, with good water pressure. The room was beautifully designed, and the kitchen was well-equipped. There's a cabinet in the hallway with extra towels, coffee pods, and other items you might need more of. What a luxury! Prime location on Laugavegur, walkable to everything we wanted to see/do/eat in Reykjavík. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

Parking in the area made it difficult to find something close so we had to porter our bags several blocks. Understanding the parking zones costs and rules was also a detriment for a short stay.

Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The apartment was comfortable with a useful kitchen area and dishwasher.
