It has been renovated in a way that has dated quickly. There were few charging points and none near the bed. Breakfast was lacklustre.

Hotel fica ao lado do Jardim Botânico e próximo a: igreja Nossa Senhora do Monte, a descida dos cestos e ao ponto final do teleférico do Monte. As varandas do Hotel permitem vistas panorâmicas para a cidade de Funchal abaixo do Monte, um lugar incrível, imperdível. As instalações do Hotel, recebendo os hóspedes com água saborizada na recepção sempre fresquinhas encantam demais. O silencio nos leva a todo momento a contemplação e meditação. Adoramos

Good location, right next to the cable car station and Monte tropical gardens. Decent free parking. Breakfast was good, selection of hot and cold foods. Staff were all very friendly. Welcome drink on arrival.

Only negative about the room was no electric sockets near the bed.
