This hotel is disgusting. Its dirty, smelly, out of date and almost everything is broken. Not worth wasting your money!

Lo único bueno es la ubicación, es muy buena donde está toda la parte turística. La persona que atiende no habla bien español, pero es muy amable y se esfuerza bien por entender a los clientes. En la esquina está el BigBus para hacer el Tour por la ciudad.

Cuando llegué no había donde parquear, no tienen suficientes parqueaderos para todas las habitaciones y cuando llegamos no había nada disponible. Eso lo deberían aclarar porque me disgustó mucho. Me tocó pagar parqueadero por fuera y ese sector es bastante costoso. No lo recomiendo desde ese punto de vista. El aseo deja mucho que desear, no lo hacen bien y aparte hay que informarlo cuando es algo que se debería hacer siempre.

I wish the best for the upcoming upgrades. Location is everything at this hotel. There is a hop-on hop-off stop right in front, and it’s an easy walk to the fisher wharf area. There is a 7-Eleven across the street, but it’s quite expensive since it’s the only convenience store nearby. The rooms are currently under renovation, as there was construction during our stay. Overall, the hotel is very old, with moldy areas, thin walls, and very poor sound insulation—you can easily hear neighbors and footsteps if you are on the 1st or 2nd floor. We were initially given room 219, which was terrible. The floor felt like it was falling apart, dirty, musty smell and there was constant noise from the 3rd floor both day and night. The street noise didn’t bother us much, but the thin walls made it very difficult to rest. We were later moved to room 320, still facing the street, which was slightly better. The floors were more stable and it was a bit cleaner, but it was still clearly an old room. It’s really only suitable for sleeping. The shower was also very outdated and a bit unsafe—the drain cover on the floor wasn’t properly attached, leaving an open hole, so you have to be very careful not to get your foot stuck. The view of the marina is nice, but the surrounding area is not well maintained. There are many homeless individuals around, and the sidewalks are quite dirty—I even saw human feces in some areas. It really feels like the streets should be cleaned more regularly. In addition, our neighbors left trash in the hallway for two days. I mentioned it to housekeeping, but it was never removed, and birds ended up getting into it. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel itself is very old and in need of significant maintenance and updates. Parking inside the hotel is secure and convenient, which is a plus.
