The only good thing is the location, it is very good where all the tourist area is. The person who attends does not speak Spanish well, but is very friendly and makes a good effort to understand the customers. The BigBus for the city tour is on the corner.

When I arrived, there was no parking available, they do not have enough parking spaces for all rooms and when we arrived there was nothing available. They should clarify this because it upset me a lot. I had to pay for parking outside and that area is quite expensive. I do not recommend it from that point of view. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired, they do not do it well and besides, it has to be reported when it is something that should always be done.

I wish the best for the upcoming upgrades. Location is everything at this hotel. There is a hop-on hop-off stop right in front, and it’s an easy walk to the fisher wharf area. There is a 7-Eleven across the street, but it’s quite expensive since it’s the only convenience store nearby. The rooms are currently under renovation, as there was construction during our stay. Overall, the hotel is very old, with moldy areas, thin walls, and very poor sound insulation—you can easily hear neighbors and footsteps if you are on the 1st or 2nd floor. We were initially given room 219, which was terrible. The floor felt like it was falling apart, dirty, musty smell and there was constant noise from the 3rd floor both day and night. The street noise didn’t bother us much, but the thin walls made it very difficult to rest. We were later moved to room 320, still facing the street, which was slightly better. The floors were more stable and it was a bit cleaner, but it was still clearly an old room. It’s really only suitable for sleeping. The shower was also very outdated and a bit unsafe—the drain cover on the floor wasn’t properly attached, leaving an open hole, so you have to be very careful not to get your foot stuck. The view of the marina is nice, but the surrounding area is not well maintained. There are many homeless individuals around, and the sidewalks are quite dirty—I even saw human feces in some areas. It really feels like the streets should be cleaned more regularly. In addition, our neighbors left trash in the hallway for two days. I mentioned it to housekeeping, but it was never removed, and birds ended up getting into it. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel itself is very old and in need of significant maintenance and updates. Parking inside the hotel is secure and convenient, which is a plus.

They were going through a complete renovation. Very noisy, dusty, Elevator was on its last leg. Sign in elevator said do not hold doors open, could cause the elevator to shut down. There was a car parked in the handicap parking spot for three days with no handicap license plate nor display attached to the mirror. Told staff and was told I had other places to park. (They did not seem to care)
