I have been coming to Egypt for work for the last 18 years and this was my 20th trip there. By far, the worst stay I have had in a 5-star hotel, both in Egypt and abroad. I was very shocked at the lack of professionalism, training, and efficiency displayed by the staff. The manager needs to the train and have better customer service. Numerous things went poorly with my stay: 1. The fridge was locked so I couldn't store my medications and it took more than 5 phone calls and me marching down to reception to ask for this to be corrected. 2. Reception picks up the phone maybe 1 out of every 6 phone calls you make. 3. A random hotel worker opened my room and almost entered at 7am on the day I left even though my checkout was at 11am. These are just 3 of the major things but overall everything was super complicated for them, even checking on whether or not my laundry was done. I complained about all of this to the manager and the staff and no attempt to correct anything was done. Really awful customer service. I can recommend at least 5 other better 5-star hotels: JW Marriott, Marriott Zamalek, Marriott Mena House, Ritz Carlton, Semiramis, and Intercontinental.

The beds were too hard but that was all over Egypt. Staff made me feel like a Queen, so kind! Actually, more like family. Amenities were grand and breakfast buffet was fit for a king! Delicious, they called me by name, took me to my table and knew what I liked to drink, tea with milk.

The bed was rock hard and I have a broken hip, they brought in piles of blankets for some comfort. Room was excellent, bathroom was great, private robes, and we loved the pool!

The room lack mirrors which is very unpleasant We had to go to the bathroom to do make up We had 2 rooms My daughters were able to get a mirror However when I asked for one in my room they said all used and I never got one They may consider putting mirrors in the room Just like any bedroom to ( fix ur hair, makeup and more) The lighting was very little, it’s nice but when u need extra lighting it’s not possible

Comfortable and luxurious hotel next to the airport. The entrance atrium is quite impressive, the rooms are spacious and there are several dining options accessible inside the compound. The compound is shared with the Hilton hotel which is located on the far end of the restaurants.

The swimming pool area is slightly restricted and overlooked by neighbours. It is also filled with flies which are very aggressive and the property should do something about it. We also booked half board but we had to remind the staff of this multiple times - they always seemed confused by it and had to go check many times before agreeing to serve us dinner. Not ideal at all and quite frustrating. We also noticed hotel staff hanging around in the main atrium many times in their free time.
