We had somewhere to stay and we could cook our own meals reducing costs for our trip.

The resort or room did not represent a true picture. The facilities in my opinion were old and run down. The beech access was a far stretch you had to exit and old rusted gate, cross the road and walk down the street for beech access. The pool area was small and uninviting. The appliances within the unit appeared to have been purchased in the 80's. The bed was like a rock. We did not have a bath as in our booking and a ground floor request was still 2 flights of stairs. Tbh if I could have afforded to relocate we would have. It wasnt the worst accommodation but the advertising was a far stretch. Would not book again.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The gardens were well maintained and attractive. Under cover parking was easy. Swimming pool for cooling off. Friendly staff :) We liked the very quiet location of Holloway's Bay, humble suburb (no big shops or boutiques). Has a great beachfront cafe 2 mins across the road (live local music on Friday afternoon), friendly owner of the pizza place 5 mins walk away (tasty pizza :) ) Relaxed and laid back.

The beds were either really hard or super soft so everyone woke up each morning with back pain. The dryer does not turn off and we came back from a day trip to find our clothes still going in the dryer 10 hours later. The description is misleading- it says free toiletries. Only when you get in the apartment does it have a note saying housekeeping is only once every 8 nights. As we were staying 7 nights we would have to pay for more toiletries. 7 days for a family with one set of towels, one small hotel soap, 2 small rolls of toilet paper and 2 little hotel shampoo and conditioner- very very stingy. We would not stay again but would go to a decent hotel.
