The staff were incredibly friendly and, despite the hotel being fully occupied, did their best to help us switch rooms. The second room we received was lovely. It was spacious, quiet, and with better amenities than our first room. If you’re unsure which room type to book I’d definitely recommend the superior room (also for below reasons)

Our first room unfortunately wasn’t as good as we had hoped. It was very noisy because the building’s air-conditioning pipes ran directly along our wall. In the evenings and at night, when everyone was using their air conditioning, we experienced a loud buzzing sound that started and stopped roughly every 10 minutes, making it difficult to get used to and to sleep. We asked to change rooms, but due to full occupancy, the hotel could only move us two days later. And then the new room would have had a similar issue. We also had a problem with the boiler in our room, which meant we could only take cold showers at first. The staff resolved this quickly, but overall the stay was still not ideal. On our final day, we were thankfully moved to a room without the noise problem, and that room change made a big difference. Although we moved from a double bed to twin beds, after several poor nights sleep we were simply happy to have a quiet room. Our score mainly reflects this experience, as we only got the better room on our last night and therefore had three nights of quite poor sleep in the first room. If you are a light sleeper, I would definitely recommend spending a little more on a ground-floor superior room

Les chambres avec 2 lits sont exiguë il n'y a pas la place d'ouvrir une valise. Les lits sont très fermes. Il n'y a pas de volets et les rideaux ne sont pas du tout occultant. Une des fenêtres ne se fermait pas. La lumière du couloir reste allumée toute la nuit (grande fenêtre qui donne sur le couloir voir photo il était 22h30) On entend ce qu'il se passe dans toutes les chambres autour.

Very quiet and peaceful place in a great location. Staff were so lovely and welcoming. Coffee machine to use in the mornings, the pool was a great way to cool off, and the rooms were super clean. Awesome value for money and we really enjoyed our stay. The cat was so cute!
