Poor amenities and rooms of very low Standards. Room windows face to hallway where other hotel guests are passing by and everyone can look directly into room and belongings. Next room is just divided by one door so you can hear conversations clearly next door. Toilet flush did not work on second day. Very small rooms and decor/furnishing appears musty and old. Other amenities are a joke, fitness room is not even worth mentioning and the cave “pool“ does not really invite for a swim. And this was by far the most expensive hotel on our trip!!! Not even worth a quarter of the price charged!! Outrageous!

Rooms were old and lacking comfort. Needed a loud fan to cool off in the loft as ac couldn’t keep up. Price was enormous for lack of upgraded rooms.

Extremely small, cramped room - very expensive. Breakfast not included. No air conditioning, you had to set up a fan which was available in the closet. No fridge in the room. The underground parking wouldn’t fit our truck so had to park on the street at the back of the hotel. The front desk staff had difficulty with the POS machines to get them working. We were given bus passes for public transport throughout Banff. Food was a Chili’s restaurant at the hotel - very expensive. Supper meal was not good. The ribs were extremely fatty so tasted terrible and the pasta dish was served cold and needed to be reheated, likely microwaved. However the ribs were removed from the bill and the pasta was discontinued 25%. Our waiter was very good and tried his best to remedy the situation. Breakfast was very good also expensive, but very tasty. Our waitress was very personable and attentive. We expected everything to be expensive considering it was in a national park. Our 2-queen bed room was over $700 for 1 night and the only extra amenity was access to a large hot tub in the basement of the hotel.
