We had a wonderful stay at The Langham, Shenzhen. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms are beautiful, impeccably maintained, the swimming pool is fantastic, and the entire staff is exceptionally professional, welcoming and attentive. The breakfast deserves special recognition – it was undoubtedly the best breakfast we have had in China. Both the authentic local Chinese cuisine and the European selection were outstanding, with an exceptional standard of quality. Our very special thanks go to Ms. Tina, Room Division Manager. Her outstanding customer service, excellent command of English, remarkable ability to resolve problems and, above all, her genuine understanding of guests’ needs made a lasting impression on us. Her professionalism, empathy and personal approach were truly exceptional. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Tina is a wonderful ambassador for The Langham brand. Employees like her make all the difference and turn a great hotel stay into a truly memorable experience. This hotel is amazing. We loved everything about it. The room was stunning, pool fantastic, breakfast was delicious. The staff were all so friendly. The lobby’s smell was amazing! The concierge team were so good. Highly recommend

If I was being picky it would be the smell of someone smoking on the 15th floor

Very comfortable beds, big rooms, nice bathroom with a large bathtub. Breakfast was great with a lot of options and worth the additional cost in my opinion (although I didn't love the coffee). It was very easy to arrange late checkout at the desk and they let me stay free of charge until 2pm and even use the pool facilities after that time which was very much appreciated. Pool facilities were great, I really enjoyed the sauna / steam room and the small outdoor heated section of the pool.

Some things could do with updating such as broken pool loungers. There were not many loungers available and the loungers in he pool shown on the pictures are no longer there. There is a QR code to get food and drinks brought to the pool loungers but service is VERY slow (waited up to an hour and pressed the remind button several times). When things did eventually come they were often incorrect and the cocktails were not great and very expensive. Had a great time overall but improving the pool F&B service would really enhance the experience.
