The decor is really beautiful, the lounge, restaurants, pools and even room when you walk in. The staff was nice though. Yes, there were some grumpy people but majority of staff was friendly. Food was also good and I found a good selection of everything, at least enough for me. Comparing to other Catalonia hotel where we stayed for the second half of our stay it was a high class. Although, I suffered from a nasty food poisoning on the last day, which it developed to the point that I thought I would have to go to a hospital, I still rate this hotel pretty high. The pools were great and really clean. The whole area is spotless. The beach was cleaned daily from the seaweed. There is also bar on the beach with a very happy chap so it was a winner! Lovely blue food track next to it with burgers, chips etc for a quick snack if you didn’t feel like going to a buffet! We tried sushi bar and loved it!! What I liked that there was no silly towels left early in the morning around the pool to reserve the spot. There were always enough and available lounges around. Waterslides were a treat for kids! Amenities were fun and staff were engaging.

But the smell of the mould was really strong and was making me sick everyday. The bathroom was begging for an update. The was a very bizarre clear screen between the room and the shower with some paints made to get some privacy. The toilet seat was absolutely gross!!! It was stained and yellow! Surprisingly, toilets around the pool were very nice, looking new and always clean.
