The staffs at the hotel are nice and helpful but it may not be easy to find the location of the hotel without the assistance of the hotel staffs.

Small quaint clean, comfortable, in the heart of "Old City" language barrier pretty high, but staff can't do enough for you. Only a few places to stay have English speaking help past basic. Food service for their breakfast not a strong suit for them but passable. I give them high marks on everything at a very fair price. I would go back.

location is a bite difficult to find, and the toilet was stuck but the housekeeper helped us to change for another room to solve the problem.

The bed and toilet are clean and comfortable. The room is really big. Free tea and tea-cooking equipments are ready in the room. The hotel is exactly inside the ancient city. Staffs are more than happy to share local information and recommend trustworthy local tours. We joined a local tour recommended by them. The experience was pretty good. We arrived the hotel very early, around 7am, because of the train’s schedule. Then, we checked in very earlier. It was very heartwarming. I personally recommend having your Lijiang trip with this hotel.
