Et utrolig fargerikt og sjarmerende sted med en helt egen bohemsk/hippieaktig atmosfære. Jeg elsket fargene, uteområdene og roen på stedet. Yogaen var også et stort pluss og veldig deilig å ha tilgjengelig under oppholdet. Vi var på Aruba fordi mannen min deltok i VM i Functional Fitness, og det var godt å kunne trekke seg tilbake til et rolig sted mellom konkurransedagene.

Vi savnet litt tydeligere informasjon om hva som var tilgjengelig for gjestene og hvordan ting skulle gjøres. Flere ganger satt vi med følelsen av at vi gjorde noe feil, blant annet rundt oppvask, kaffe, mat og bruk av aircondition. Sengen var dessverre ukomfortabel for oss og ga ryggplager, og det kom en del sterkt lys inn om natten. Vi savnet også bedre muligheter for mat ved spesielle kostbehov. Beliggenheten er veldig rolig, men bil er etter vår mening en stor fordel dersom man ønsker å oppleve øya.

Mammaloes is a beautiful, colourful place with a lovely pool and a relaxed hippie style. We enjoyed our ten-day stay, and the lady who cleaned every other day deserves a special mention: 10/10! 😍

I travel frequently, and this is the first time I’ve felt the need to write this kind of feedback. It wasn’t one major problem, but a series of smaller things that built up over our stay. Above all, it was how our questions and concerns were handled that sometimes left us feeling less welcome than we had hoped. The Booking listing showed several photos of a beautiful kitchen and seating area by the pool. We had looked forward to spending time there with our laptop and a beer, but it was closed to guests. When we asked, we were told it was private because guests damage things, and that the photos must be old. Opening hours were still displayed on the door, so the information was confusing. We were disappointed by the responses we received when we raised a concern or needed help. When our food hadn’t arrived, we were simply told that the person preparing it had already left. When an outside light disturbed our sleep, we were told they hadn’t noticed it themselves and that we should cross our fingers for the following night. These replies felt dismissive rather than helpful. We didn’t expect every issue to be solved immediately, but we would have appreciated having our concerns acknowledged and some effort made to find a solution. My request for food without dairy and without mayonnaise wasn’t followed. We also received no response when we tried to reach them for help contacting roadside assistance. Some facilities came with restrictions we hadn’t expected: the advertised free coffee was only available in the morning, and we were told that using the room’s air conditioning before 7 p.m. would cost extra. We also found that some leftover noodles we had left in the guest kitchen for other guests had been moved to the private kitchen. Alongside notices about charges for stained towels and reminders about returning plates, these experiences made us feel less at ease than the relaxed setting suggested. None of these things alone would have defined our stay.

How lovely is this unique and colorful Mammaloe's B&B. The combination of colors makes you truly visit the Caribbean. Even the walkways have a color... My gypsy wagon was beautifully decorated in serene white with many golden details: peace and calm all over the place. The wagon had many hidden places where I could store my luggage. The bed was completely comfortable and the surroundings very calm. The pool has the perfect format and lounge area was so nicely decorated: the eye of an artist. And every morning I was spoiled with a surprising breakfast. I am definitely coming back with my partner! Thank you very much for your hospitality and kind words, host Willeke.
