The location is ideal for getting around Singapore. Walking distance to many of the attractions plus the convenience of the Clarke Quay MRT if you wanted to go further afield.

Singapore is an expensive destination. The hotel prices are high but no more than others for the level and standards offered.

Pool was a wonderful respite from the heat. Surprised us with a birthday cake and card in the room, which was a lovely touch. The 5 pm free cakes in the foyer are a lovely touch if back in the hotel by this time.

Laundry is expensive at $13 Singapore dollars to wash and another $13 to dry. Clothes didn’t dry so had to do another drying run. Also disappointed water in the foyer taken away at 4 pm just when you return from days adventures and could do with a cold drink.

I ordered a balcony room, looking at the photo of the hotel I expected to get a pool view or river view, I got neither, I got a main road. The dining area was too big too.
