Upon arrival, the staff were rude and unwelcoming, especially the male staff at the reception desk. They quickly dismissed us as if trying to get rid of us. In contrast, the women at the reception desk were sweet, friendly, and approachable. The men seemed unapproachable and looked at us with disgust. I felt racially profiled by them.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Koreana Hotel during our family trip to Seoul. The location was excellent, and the hotel was comfortable and convenient for exploring the city. We would like to thank the hotel for accommodating our specific requests. We asked for higher-floor rooms and rooms with a Japanese-style bathroom, and they kindly arranged this for us, which made a real difference to our stay. The staff were helpful and professional throughout our visit, and we would gladly stay here again when returning to Seoul.

1) Mirror: the whole room design did not consider female users; mirrors were only available in the toilet/bathroom, which was very inconvenient for female family members when the bathroom was in use and they had to wait. 2) There was no space for luggage, yet the room is advertised for families.
