We had the private double room with four lockers which were useful and a private bathroom. A lot of space where we could put our stuff. In general, it was very clean. Typical French breakfast was good (freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolat, once we had crêpes, bread, fruit purée, yogurt but sadly no fresh fruit)

It was astonishing how confident the lady at the reception spoke (or rather shouted) her opinions on guests and where/how long they store their luggage. Hint to the receptionist: just because guests converse in English, it doesn't mean they can't understand someone who speaks French. Also if the luggage annoys you if it's stored in the various rooms, maybe the Hotel should rethink their policy and stop offering to store it in the kitchen etc. Note for solo travelers: there isn't much going on in the common room, so it's really a calm hotel. Apart from that, the stay was good!

The card was not working all the time (but they fixed this for us) and nobody told us how to open the front door (they opened it for us)

The location is relatively close to the metro (15 min) but we could walk to Notre Dame because there are many attractions on the way (Montparnasse, Luxembourg Palace, Pantheon). The location was very clean, the breakfast quite varied. Although there is no air conditioning, it is not excessively hot in the summer. They have a fan. We slept well. Around the hotel, the area was safe, we had no problems late at night. There are cheap restaurants nearby and a Carrefour across the street

We stayed in a very small room with two bunk beds, the elevator is for 2 people, very small.
