Mixed reports: several guests praised daily cleaning and found rooms clean, but a few mentioned the hotel being 'extremely dirty' and inconsistent housekeeping standards.
Consistently praised staff — helpful, friendly and went out of their way (examples include staff fixing reservation issues and attentive front-desk service).
Excellent location in/near the French Quarter; many guests highlighted proximity to Frenchmen Street, markets and attractions.
Rooms described as spacious and comfortable with good beds and pillows; some minor issues noted (condensation from vents, limited AC control, missing microwave in one report).
Amenities weighed down by a broken/closed pool and poor communication about alternate pool access; otherwise had a small pub and on-site facilities.
Generally reasonable room rates and good value for location, but several guests complained parking fees (reported $50/night) felt overpriced.
Limited but positive mentions: complimentary morning coffee appreciated and a small pub on site; no extensive dining complaints or highlights.
Overall positive stays with happy repeat customers, thanks largely to location, comfortable rooms and strong staff service, tempered by pool and occasional cleanliness issues.
Nothing. First, they gave us a super dark room and when we asked to change, they gave us one facing the street which was even worse because you couldn't open the curtain, otherwise people from the street could see you. The parking was very expensive: $45 + tax per day, if you didn't arrive before 4:00 pm you had to pay an extra fee for early check-in. There was no breakfast but they provided free water bottles that ran out and instead of replenishing, they said there was none. I wouldn't repeat

Everything.
The front desk lady allowed us early check-in and offered water as well. They all were very friendly and kind. She kept our luggage while our room was getting cleaned. I liked how the rooms were set up and it was perfect for a family traveling.

The hotel had a bad smell, the shower was dirty, the sink was clogged, the shower plate moved, the bed squeaked, the comforter had stains, the bedroom TV didn't work and even the maintenance man had a hard time getting it to work only for it not to work again and it had hair everywhere. It was very stuffy and the pool was the selling point but it was green and you couldn't use it at all. This place would be good for someone who wants to drink and party and doesn't care about the overall cleanliness.
I loved the location. Staff were amazing especially the lady that helped with bookings. The verandahs were great

The TV didn't work but I could stream to it. The sloping floors felt weird but I understand it is an old building.
Good location, clean and friendly staff. Very professional.

Had to pay for early check-in even though there were plenty of vacant rooms.
