The room was not cleaned (not even once in 3 days) and the breakfast was quite meager with no pastries

The check-in process was a real pain. My phone wasn't able to read the QR code at reception. The staff helped to scan the QR code but then sent me away to fill in my details, ALL of which could easily have been taken at booking. Consequently, there was a large queue at reception. Totally avoidable hassle for an otherwise great stay.

So central. Out the front door and you can see St. Peter's Square for the tram. Out the back door and you are straight in China Town. Very comfortable bed. Separate toilet to the shower which was great with a teenage girl who spent ages doing makeup

Forgot there was no kettle in the room so missed being able to have tea before bed

We couldn't get into our room after returning from a night out as the lock had run out of battery. It took them 1 and a half hours to open the door, the receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful throughout the experience

Very well located, very convenient, downtown, near a main tram station, museums, clubs. My room was large and pleasant. Large television and pleasant seating area. The air conditioning was easily adjustable. The room overlooked a quiet alley. Breakfast (not used) easily reservable on the hotel's app.

Very thin duvet, cleaning could be better. To have the room cleaned the next day, you have to make a request via their app, which requires downloading it (intrusive) and the cleaning option is not found on the app. The room was very large, there were two TVs, one of which did not work. The fridge cooled little. I would have liked to find a kettle. Strange and uncomfortable "design" sofa.

Would be good to say before booking that when you get there they don't check you in, but rather make you scan a QR code and do the check-in yourself. Had I known that I wouldn't have booked. Plus, the Asian lady at the desk was very rude and talked to all of the guests trying to deal with the self-check-in as if we were idiots, when in fact she didn't seem to know very much herself about the checking-in process. Plus, it seems nowadays you need an app for everything you do... just tired of it, I don't want to deal with it myself. I've booked, I'll give you the reservation number, name, and ID - check me in. Soon enough we'll have self-checkout tills like the supermarkets everywhere.

Very stingy breakfast. No egg options other than boiled eggs. Everything was in the simplest form. Lack of anything beyond basic.
