A bit outdated
Clean, comfortable, lovely staff. Shower was ok (too small for my 6ft 4 husband). Our room had a lovely view of the river. Blackout blinds were a godsend. Parking at the hotel next door.

Far too expensive for a 2-star hotel but that’s just Banff, which is a shame.
The location of this hotel was great for access to downtown Banff. The staff were very helpful and helped with our room problem promptly and efficiently. We enjoyed our stay and it was good value for Banff.

The hotel is very tired and in need of an upgrade, carpets were worn and the electrics dodgy. We had a blown fuse on our first night and a patio door which would not shut properly. The staff addressed and put these problems right. The bathroom fittings were loose and the sink could not hold water.
Our room needed a makeover.

Jasmine at the reception made a big mistake and we lost $200. The room (114) was small for the money we paid. Construction all around the hotel. No noise because it was a long weekend.

Poor booking procedure resulting in the cancellation of a 1-night stay, patronizing communications, and lack of empathy or understanding. I would choose a tent rather than pay for anything in the future
