Location isn’t too far to walk to the cable cars. There are some small eateries and convenient stores along the way.

The smell is musty and stuffy like the old Victorian mansion. It’s so dated. It’s badly in need of repair such as flooring is not leveled. We attempted to open the windows (covered by beautiful drapes) but found cobwebs instead though the bathroom is large with nice white tiles. The sinks need new faucets. The smoke alarm went off one afternoon during our stay, don’t know if it’s because someone smoked pot in the room. Yes, pot smoking in this town is unreal.

Windows in the room could not be opened, the hotel exudes faded glory. Enormous noise at night from sirens of ambulances/police and garbage trucks.

Loved the suite. Had a nice amount of space. Jacuzzi tub was a great bonus. Nice they had valet parking.
