Unfortunately, this was one of the most unsanitary hotel experiences I have ever had. After noticing the condition of the bed, I specifically asked for it to be completely stripped. A bug was then found underneath the mattress protector. There was also hair all over the sheets and bed, along with dog hair on the floor. I understand that this is a dog friendly property, but if pets are allowed in the rooms, sanitation and housekeeping standards need to be even more thorough between guests. Finding dog hair throughout the room, especially in addition to dirty bedding, was completely unacceptable. What made the situation even more frustrating was the attempt to correct it. I was only brought clean sheets. There were no clean comforters or pillowcases brought to replace the ones already on the bed. At that point, simply changing the sheets was nowhere near enough to make me feel that the bed or room had been properly sanitized. I was beyond disgusted and did not feel comfortable staying there. I did receive a full refund, which I appreciate. However, I was told that someone would contact me regarding the situation, and I never received a call or any follow up. I have been a Hilton member for years and have never experienced anything like this. Clean bedding and a properly sanitized room are basic expectations when staying at any hotel. This experience fell far below the standard I have come to expect from Hilton, and unfortunately, I will never return to this property.
