You can access the building and the room only through an app that you must download. That means that to stay in the hotel, you must have a smartphone with a sufficiently recent/updated operating system, NFC capability, and enough free space for the JustIn Mobile app. To activate the app, you need to enter your phone number and receive a text message. If you have a foreign number and no roaming, so you cannot receive text messages, tough luck. Also, your phone must always have enough battery and data (though, wifi can help with that) to unlock the outside and the room door. There is no front desk either. IF YOUR PHONE BATTERY DIES, YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK AND LOCKED OUT OF YOUR ROOM. Obviously, if the battery is dead, you cannot call the help-desk either. The second thing to note is the layout of the room and the furniture in the room. The closet behind the couch contains the bed that can be pulled down. Unfortunately, this means that the light switch is very far around the corner from the bed. Also, no phone charging nearby the bed.

Modern, clean and comfortable accommodation near the city centre. Although the city centre isn’t within walking distance, a taxi will take you there for a few euros. There’s a supermarket right next to the accommodation. Free parking is no problem.

We had a studio with two bedrooms and a shared kitchen and bathroom. The rooms were small, but that’s not a problem for a few days. What’s impractical is that you can only gain access to the building and the room using an app that you have to install on your phone. You then have to be careful not to leave your phone in the bedroom and close the door. Even the bedroom door locks automatically once it’s closed.
