Everything was excellent

The hospitable Host was there to welcome me and show me around the apartment. The shared kitchen was well equipped: coffee machine with coffee, hot water pot plus teas, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, table / chairs, water dispenser. My bedroom had a closet and work desk with queen bed, and a high basement style window. The washroom with shower was directly next door in the hallway. I am a walker who appreciated the ease of reaching public transportation to the airport. Also pleasant for walkers was that the house is adjacent to a connecting walker / biker pathway.

Every time I left the room and shut my door to use the washroom or kitchen it locked behind me.. To get back into my room I punched in a key code on the doorknob which played a digital song upon opening. I was uncomfortable that this "song" would disturb the neighboring room at night so I left my bedroom door open when I needed the washroom.
