The location is very far from the main road and when we book a taxi the driver cannot go in the street because it's very tight and traffic is bad

Not great views from the hotel, at least on the side we were on. The room was nice, but the hotel itself is a bit dated. The carpets in the hall on our floor were visibly stained throughout that floor, which gave a pretty poor impression. The online reviews were overly generous, in my opinion, perhaps because of how friendly and accommodating the staff is.
Location (in a typical Beijing hutong) fairly central, functional for a city visit (various attractions/neighborhoods are about 20 minutes by didi), although not very close to the metro (10-15 minutes walk). Clean structure. Room and bathroom not particularly large, but functional (like a classic business hotel). Friendly staff. Very rich breakfast buffet, with local dishes prepared by the chef at the moment, different every day. Convenient (and reasonably priced) internal restaurant (open for lunch and dinner), without particular claims, with a mixed Chinese/international menu.
