Mixed reports: several guests praised clean, well-maintained rooms, but multiple reviews mention poor maintenance and an overall sense of inadequate cleanliness in some rooms.
Generally praised: many guests found staff friendly and helpful (several named staff positively), though a minority reported unprofessional or inefficient behaviour at times.
Mostly positive: centrally located and considered secure, but some guests noted noise outside the hotel and one comment about difficulty finding the location.
Below average: several complaints about old fittings, outdated bathrooms and awkward layouts (bed next to corridor entrance); some guests did find rooms acceptable or well maintained.
Positive: guests mention a nice outdoor pool, fast Wi‑Fi, daily bottled water/tea/coffee and newspapers; some missing/poorly located electrical sockets and lack of items like a prayer mat were noted.
Mixed to negative: while some callers found the hotel reasonably priced, at least one review called it overpriced given its condition; inconsistent maintenance lowers perceived value.
Generally good: breakfast variety and some praise for the food, though there are isolated complaints (e.g., food served cold or limited options compared to expectations).
Overall positive for many guests due to helpful staff, central location and decent amenities; a minority of strongly negative experiences (cleanliness, room condition, service delays) lowered some guests' impressions.
Staff very friendly and had room with a view. Supplies e.g. bottled water, tea/coffee, towels restocked every day. Two bananas and bunch of grapes on arrival. Daily newspaper (in English) pushed under door each morning.

No powerpoint at bedhead, so had to ask for an extension cord to use with my CPAP machine. Also, when the lights were turned out the power to the plug on the desk wall also went off, which prevented my hearing aids from being charged overnight so had to sleep with the lights on.
