Generally praised: reviews mention good room and lobby cleaning and solid housekeeping, no widespread cleanliness complaints.
Staff frequently described as friendly and very helpful (door staff and many reviews praise personnel); isolated comment about an unfriendly check-in does not reflect the majority.
Excellent central location at the start of Temple Bar repeatedly highlighted as a major positive, ideal for nightlife and city exploration.
Multiple complaints about small rooms, very hot rooms and ineffective/no air conditioning, uncomfortable/very firm beds and noisy windows — consistent negative points across reviews.
Mixed: good breakfast offering, underground restaurant and useful extras (to-go cups), but missing items noted (no handheld shower, no toilet brush, limited bathroom ventilation, some rooms lack AC).
Generally seen as good/excellent value by several guests, though a few guests felt it was not great value given room size/comfort — overall balanced at the target rating.
Breakfast repeatedly described positively (wonderful buffet, good selection of fruits and local foods); overall F&B receives strong praise.
Overall impressions skew positive: superb central location, friendly staff and solid breakfast create a very good overall stay despite room size, noise and AC issues mentioned by several guests.
The location was excellent being close to all Dublin's main attractions. The staff very helpful and friendly - very impressed by the staff at the entry to the Inn - always ready to help and assist.

Very disappointed with the breakfast standard. Coffee from the machine was not hot, porridge was not cooked properly and watery and hot food was out too long and not fresh( except the eggs). Felt it was not good value for the price.
A tidy room equipped with everything needed, including kettle, cooler, etc. The bathroom featured high-quality toiletries: "Rituals" products. The hotel is located right at the bar street, so you are in the middle of the party all the time. Just next to the hotel there is a small grocery store, many places to eat. Not far from it there is another hotel called Temple bar hotel, so know to which one your are heading.

Since the hotel is located on a street with many bars, it was quite noisy at night. On the other hand, there were earplugs in the room, so those who can sleep with them might not hear a thing. Also, not a negative point, exactly, but the hairdryer was placed strangely in the room itself rather than in the bathroom.
Very accessible and very good location!

The hotel is ideally located for exploring the city on foot. Restaurants, pubs, shops, and public transport are all within easy reach. The walk from the hotel room to the exit is much longer than from the exit to the nearest pub or shop. In the event of another trip to Dublin, we would definitely choose Temple Bar Inn again. And Dublin is definitely worth another visit.

The nightlife has a corresponding volume and never seems to end. For light sleepers, the noise could be too intense. However, as a welcome gift, there is not only a bottle of water but also earplugs.
The bedding is spotless. The space in the room is sufficient but given that the trip cost over 900€ for 3 nights and 3 people, one could hope for something larger. But this remark is really just to tease. The breakfast is plentiful and sufficient on its own. The welcome is perfect whether at the reception or at breakfast. Thumbs up for the security guard at the entrance who is very friendly. The hotel's responsiveness to a problem is also noteworthy. The shower did not have enough pressure, but as soon as the issue was raised, it was resolved within a minute.

Slight downside for the size of the bathroom and the faucet that resembles one you might find in a small cabinet. It would also be time to change the curtains and review the aging furniture that deserves a refresh. This point is unfortunate as it can give an impression of dirtiness even though the cleaning is done well every day if desired. A solution should also be found for noise disturbances. Earplugs are not a viable solution for everyone. Deliveries on the street and people in the hallway were far too noisy.
