Multiple guests describe rooms as clean and spacious, but some mention older facilities and a poorly draining bathroom which reduces the cleanliness perception slightly.
Repeatedly praised: very friendly, helpful owners and staff; assisted with bus bookings, taxis, printing documents, held luggage, offered welcome drinks and early breakfast — standout hospitality.
Described as very central (Thamel/heart of town) and convenient by several reviewers; excellent location for sightseeing and local amenities.
Beds described as comfy with spare pillows and some renovated rooms noted, but multiple comments cite older/aging equipment and at least one report of bathroom issues.
Good on-site amenities mentioned: rooftop with views, solid breakfast options, luggage storage, help with transport and printing; welcomed extras like welcome drinks.
Several reviewers explicitly call this great value for price paid, praising the combination of service, location and included breakfast.
Breakfast frequently praised (fresh fruit, recommended omelette); guests appreciated early breakfast when needed and complimentary drinks on arrival.
Guests overwhelmingly praise the hospitality, staff and location, but cumulative negatives (aging property, bathroom drainage issues, occasional concerns about view) temper the final overall score.
Hotel in a good location, there is an ATM nearby, a pharmacy, and all necessary shops. The staff is very friendly, they take into account all wishes, always suggest how and where to spend time, besides the transfer from the hotel, they also drove to a local location. Breakfasts are simple but tasty and filling, with active walking, it easily lasts until lunch:) The room is nice, wooden furniture, with a local touch. It was nice to relax there after an active day. I had a great time!

The accommodation was very nice, they took care of everything we needed, there was a free transfer from the airport to the hotel, very helpful for a smooth landing! The breakfast is simple and tasty. The hotel's location is on an inner street within Thamel so there is no noise from the tourists around. Highly recommend for those looking for a place in Kathmandu to organize.

This is a hotel popular with foreign guests and the hotel has some expertise with this clientele. It's a budget hotel but one of the better ones in the area. It's in a relatively peaceful location and the rooms are standard size and comfortable. Most importantly the staff, which seems to compromise mostly of young Nepali guys are extremely pleasant and have been trained well with high professional standards and behavior. This is a matter of management policy but the staff have no discretion whatsoever to offer even a small discount even if the guest has a valid reason to request one. I am the CEO of a travel company which regularly brings more than 300 guests a year to Nepal. However for this service discrepancy I can't recommend this hotel and we won't be using it. By the way (I know this is very common in Nepal) in addition to the staff's inability to offer even a tiny discount (about 3 USD) you will be charged an extra 4% on your bill if you pay by card. Just add this to the price of the room and food.

Management should trust their staff.. even a little.
