This is a hotel popular with foreign guests and the hotel has some expertise with this clientele. It's a budget hotel but one of the better ones in the area. It's in a relatively peaceful location and the rooms are standard size and comfortable. Most importantly the staff, which seems to compromise mostly of young Nepali guys are extremely pleasant and have been trained well with high professional standards and behaviour. This is a matter of management policy but the staff have no disrecetion what so ever to offer even a small discount even if the guest has a valid reason to request one. I am the CEO of a travel company which regularly brings more than 300 guests a year to Nepal. However for this service discrepancy I can't recommend this hotel and we won't be using it. By the way ( I know this is very common in Nepal) in addition to the staff's inability to offer even a tiny discount ( about 3 USD) you will be charged an extra 4 % on your bill if you pay by card. Just add this to the price of the room and food.
