A couple of bottles of water in the fridge would have been the icing on the cake

The Steyne appears both a heritage place in brilliant location and a going concern as regards contemporary life and facilities. It provided convenience, value for money, good comfort, an agreeable 'climate' as regards staff who all seemed on the ball and friendly in disposition.

Many others are probably more demanding than me; check if they are getting what they want with the wifi and other technology, room service. I heard some music getting late at night, a problem with older pubs especially on weekends, though it seemed to be managed - very marginal impact.
