- On arrival, we were the only ones not to get a welcome drink. - There is no nice lounge/designated waiting area, just a round sofa in the middle of the reception hall. - The restaurant is nice but quite overpriced for what you get (side dishes even cost extra). - We came to the social club rooftop in 2024 as non-guests and absolutely loved it. This time, as we sat down, a member of the staff borderline chased us down to the table to verify if we were guests of the hotel…. This time the answer was yes, but the interaction was still uncomfortable. The music was also way too loud and club-like (not in a good way). - It’s the only hotel we visited in Vietnam (we stayed in more than 10) that doesn’t include breakfast. - Our room card was deactivated 20min before checkout, which we noticed as we were unable to take the elevator up to the room to pack. Never experienced this in a 5-star hotel, definitely didn’t make us feel welcome. - No one asked us about our stay or interacted with us during check out (except the great doormen), we were basically just told to sit on the sofa to wait for our car.
