Palm Beach hotel was great. Facilities were decent and the bed was comfy. I liked the AC on at all times which was nice. The room is a bit scruffy and quite outdated. However the value is pretty good for your length of stay (approximately 100-120 per night when I booked). located right across from Coles, this made food shopping quite easy. Lots of food places close by (only 5 minute walk) and the bistro at the bottom of the hotel was quite convenient, seemed like they had good deals and food too. Wish I got to try!. Bus stop was conveniently located 2-5 minute walk down the road, and tram wasn't too far of a commute. Palm beach itself was very nice.

I didn't like how the room was quite dirty. Walked in there was a used cotton bud under the sink, and it was obvious the floor had not been vacuumed. The window also didn't open. Lucky there was AC but say goodbye to fresh air because you won't get any of that in your room. I also found it odd having a standalone sink in my room, but it kind of worked as I was able to brush my teeth in my room. There was unfortunately no kitchen. Only a microwave, kettle and communal fridge. The furniture is quite outdated and used, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The smell, the fact I didn’t get the room I thought I was getting, the noise from the bar being open so late, the lack of cleaning in the room all the curtains were dusty and dirt everywhere floor was gross too
