-Breakfast was not bad and worth the price. -Room was very hot and the only way to lower the temperature is to open the window. -Location is good. -Staff was very welcoming.

I stayed for two nights and the room was not cleaned during my stay. The room has a wood floor that is broken and uneven. The morning that I left, the attendant was not available even after waiting 15 minutes and calling many times. The entrance to the hotel is through an informal bridge. This is not a 3-star hotel at all.

The breakfast was like in kindergarten! I prefer to have self-service breakfast with more choices and facilities. That was not respectful for tourists. It was more like a Motel

Location good, a bit difficult to find because based on the hotel's picture, it gave the impression that it would be on the street, so the brochure said to go through the back yard of the music school, clearer guidance from the street with name and arrows.. Breakfast was not particularly good.

Practical furnishings and sufficient for a city tour. However, it takes some getting used to that the rooms are not cleaned (beds made). The towels and bed linens are changed every three days, but the trash is disposed of daily. The location is fantastic and allows back and forth during the day (e.g. to give 'tired bones' a nap before continuing). The only drawback we had was a room on the ground floor near the reception. It was quite turbulent here at night (due to arriving and departing hotel guests or returning night owls), so we could hardly sleep through a night.

In summary, the location and amenities were as expected. Great, very quiet and central location (10 minutes walk to Red Square and the Kremlin), sufficiently maintained, simple amenities. So far okay. The big BUT: We had booked an apartment with two separate beds and sofas on about 23 square meters. Initially, we were offered a tiny, simple twin room. After complaint, much persistent discussion, and waiting (more bad than good, as English is not spoken well here), we were then offered an apartment with a double bed and a sofa bed with the note that there was no room like the one we booked in the hotel. (A look into the neighboring room revealed the lie) We were told to contact Expedia, as they could not do anything further... So we did, because a different room category was booked and already paid for. One of us slept on the (at least quite comfortable) sofa bed for a week. However, we did not let it ruin our vacation.

Within walking distance of the center and metro entrances. You have a lot of privacy, they do not come by every morning to clean the room, that happens in the afternoon. Asking for an extra clean towel is not a problem. Friendly staff! Enjoyed a week in this hotel!
