Shower pressure was pitiful. Sink plug didn't work in the bathroom. Pillows too big. Had to ask for smaller ones that were only just better. No dishwash brush., dish cloth etc when we arrived. Had to ask for these. Whole unit could have been alot cleaner. There were fingerprints on microwave and ranchhood, kitchen cupboards etc. A simple wipe of these could have been done. Very dusty. Had to use the plugs by the bed and i would say bed hasnt been moved for months and months or even years. Plug points were all dusty. Shower tiles/grout had mould on them. A simple spray with exit mould would have done the trick. It definitely needs some TLC and a deep clean. Pool was nice but lots of sand in the bottom and corners.
I had a wonderful stay at Meriton Suites Broadbeach. I really enjoyed everything about the property, especially the stunning ocean view from the 24th floor. The facilities were excellent, with beautiful indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a sauna and spa. The location is also fantastic — one of the Gold Coast’s main shopping malls is just a few minutes’ walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The beach is also within easy walking distance. The suite was modern, clean and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and I would definitely stay here again.
