Very stuffy in the cabins, no sockets, no lock on the toilet. But these are all minor things: they will try to convince you to cancel the reservation upon arrival and pay in cash. The hostel avoids taxes this way. Maybe it's okay for someone, but they spent an hour trying to convince me to cancel the reservation, and then informed Booking.com that I did not check in and canceled the reservation themselves, demanding cash, supposedly for my own good, so that I could save a couple of euros. I reported it to customer support, but never received a response.

Such a great team at the hostel. Very lovely people, you immediately felt welcome and comfortable. The rooms are huge and the beds are large. The curtains provide enough privacy and there is enough storage space. There is also a large locker. And every morning you get a typical Sicilian breakfast from the bakery around the corner.

The facilities are a bit outdated, the mattresses and pillows could be more comfortable. But the great staff and the loving atmosphere make up for it :)
