A worker was painting in the room when I arrived and he was surprised that it bothered me. There is no butter for toast or milk for coffee.

The room was filthy, long black hairs on the floor and in piles around the room and in the bathroom and bath. Layer of grime on toilet, sink and kitchenette and the bed side table was sticky with spilled drinks from previous occupants.

Very well located, a few meters from the Walk of Fame and various points of interest, such as the metro station and the Pantages Theatre. There are some homeless people nearby, but during our stay, we did not feel unsafe. The cost-benefit is good, especially for those looking for a well-located place to sleep and plan to spend the day exploring the Hollywood and Downtown areas.

The main negative point was undoubtedly the Wi-Fi. Of the four nights we stayed, the Wi-Fi only worked on one of them, which was quite inconvenient. Another point worth mentioning is that the private room's bathroom is outside the room. Although this is relatively common in hostels, I believe this information should be explicitly stated. Having the bathroom inside the room or needing to leave it to use it provides very different experiences, and this is important information for the booking decision.

In 3 nights, I had a free pizza and wine night, barbecue and drinks for $15, and barbecue and free drinks (which were not bad at all!). Kiki is the guy responsible for this, HE IS SO GREAT!

In that part of Hollywood Street, you'll see a lot of homeless people, but it's not the facility's fault. However, on the last night, they let 4 guys check-in at 3 am, they turned off the lights, made noise, and disrupted my sleep for about 45 minutes. They could have been more considerate. I was very angry that day since I was going to take a flight and had not been able to sleep for more than 30 hours.
