The breakfast was poor

The location of the hotel was ok but there was no hotel frontage/ lobby. Guests have to go into a multi use lobby housing other businesses and use only one lift along with other users. Hotel is on one floor. Unfortunately there is a lot of homeless people hanging around outside the main entrance which we had to walk past several times a day.

The breakfast was pitiful and can hardly be called breakfast, when we checked in we were advised that breakfast the following morning was not going to be served as there were going to be less than 10 guests staying there. Our room was dated, the bathroom dated and not particularly clean looking. We were given towels with a hole in it and another one was fraying all around the edges. The heating in our room was insufficient to keep the room warm. One small radiator located next to the window behind curtains. We asked for help at reception and were told that the heating was not working properly. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We did ask and were given a kettle.

La propreté de la chambre était malheureusement insuffisante : la literie, les rideaux et plusieurs équipements étaient sales, avec de la poussière et des taches visibles. Les lits étaient très inconfortables. De plus, l'isolation est inexistante, nous avons subi du bruit continu de la chambre voisine de 22h à 7h du matin, ce qui nous a empêchés de dormir. Une odeur de cigarette est également entrée dans la chambre toute la nuit. Au vu de ces problèmes, le rapport qualité-prix ne nous a pas semblé satisfaisant.
