The hostel is very cozy, with lovely decor and common areas for guests! The room is great and the bathroom is spacious. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home! The breakfast bread is very good!

It's nothing major, just a suggestion: the bathroom lighting is a bit dim.

Very well located safe haven in Green Point. 44 beds total but because of the layout and spacious rooms you feel as though you are staying in a family home with a few other like-minded people. I loved the mix of guests - age range 18-65, from numerous different countries, all sharing that independent, curious, and community-minded backpacker mindset. Each space is kept super-clean, rooms cleaned and towels changed daily, and the breakfasts are healthy and generous. A stand-out staff (locals and Zimbabweans) means you feel welcome and included from arrival onwards. Very highly recommended - THE BIG enhanced my entry into Cape Town and understanding of how life is for locals.

There are LOTS of quite steep steps - if you’re not fully mobile you might want to ask about accessibility before booking. Some staff more welcoming and helpful than others - unfortunately I had a less than positive checkout experience even though I had given notice I would be checking out early. That soured my overall very positive experience, sadly. Loved the braai night but found it a bit pricey at 400 rand - I recommend you reduce the price to 350 (as it was before) and have people pay for drinks after the first one.

Ficamos num quarto com banheiro privativo, com tamanho ótimo. A ducha era agradável. A localização era boa, próximo a waterfront. As meninas, principalmente, a que nos recebeu é extremamente agradável e solicita.

O piso é de madeira e por isso range o tempo todo. Causa incômodo para quem esta no quarto e quem esta no quarto de baixo. O cafe da manha tem variedades de fruta, mas so um tipo de pão. Não tem frios e é no estilo "faça você mesmo", além de ser mesa compartilhada, o que é ótimo para quem procura um ambiente mais descontraído como de um hostel.

A localização é ótima. O ambiente é super limpo, aconchegante e acolhedor. Quarto e banheiro espaçosos. Café da manhã bom. Os funcionários são incríveis!! Nós simplesmente amamos tudo!

La habitación doble era muy bonita y cómoda. Las instalaciones comunes decoradas con mucho gusto y con muy buen ambiente. La situación muy buena para visitar el centro de la ciudad a pie. Si volvemos a Ciudad del Cabo repetiremos.
