I had booked a smaller room originally but some booking got mixed up, and the nice receptionists gave me a much bigger room with floor to ceiling windows and a very nice modern look to it. I was surprised at how plentiful the breakfast buffet was. I have stayed at plenty other more premium hotels who don’t offer the amount of variety in there breakfasts that this hotel had. Very extensive for 3 star hotel. I had a later afternoon flight and asked for a late check out which they granted to 12 pm free of charge even though they were fully booked the following day. Lot of conventions going on I Warsaw during that week so all hotels were really over expensive. I normally would never choose any ibis hotels cause they are always usually tacky and don’t carry any type of premium feel, unfortunately I wasn’t left with much choice and pleasantly surprised that this specific one is actually quite nice!

The receptionists don’t offer to grab bags for you while for example stowing them in luggage storage while waiting for a flight. Instead they say “bring your bags and follow me” I wasn’t too surprised since it is ibis and expectations shouldn’t be set high, yet still small gestures go a long way. The receptionists don’t acknowledge you when you get to the reception desk immediately, if they are busy with another guest or on the phone they will not look your way until finished. Just a visual acknowledgement goes a long way. The glass water bottles provided in every room were odd and inconveniently shaped. The pouring top was very wide and inconvenient for pouring or drinking out of. A glass shaped with a more narrow standard pour opening would be much nicer.
